EXPERTISE
Tara Wickwire, Principal
A celebrated brand strategist, Tara has curated company, consumer and executive brands across sectors and industries.

As Principal of The Message, she helps clients design programs to deliver content and stories in the most current and compelling way possible. These programs are distinctly differently for everyone - whether it's a launch event, a media relations campaign, an executive brand building strategy, an investor relations package or an overall brand re-set.

Most recently as Vice President of Strategy at Outcast Foods, she led oversight of the brand which included marketing, communications and strategic positioning for the company, developing global channels for the company's upcycled products.

Prior to that she was Associate Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy at NATIONAL Public Relations, Canada’s leading Public Relations firm. There she specialized in brand and media strategy, event marketing and executive brand building and communications. As part of this, she worked with executives in helping them define their personal brand, share their vision with a broader audience and bring a human story to their business. Tara is passionate about encouraging leaders to think more critically about their values, vision and voice while establishing them as industry experts and influencers in their own right.

She has also led PR strategy for some of the world’s most recognized apparel brands including Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy. She served as the company’s spokesperson for Canada and made frequent media appearances as a style and trend expert.
